Good morning, friends. The Knicks just held shootaround before their home game against the Jazz tonight. They knew we were all dissatisfied with having just one star player hampered by a vague and slightly spooky knee issue...so here's another one!

Ian Begley @IanBegley

Amar'e Stoudemire not shooting around due to sore right knee. Questionable for tonight. #Knicks

Jared Zwerling @JaredZwerling

Woodson said both of Amar'e's knees are sore. #Knicks

We didn't even have to wait for Carmelo Anthony to recover-- he also missed shootaround with a sore right knee and is "questionable"/a "game-time decision" again tonight-- for another guy to get hurt. Now our needling fear of what exactly the Knicks mean by "sore" is doubled-- tripled if you account for Woodson mentioning both of Amar'e's knees. It was Stoudemire's left knee, incidentally, that required the debridement surgery that kept him out the first two months of the year. I guess this is why the 30-minute limit was a thing.
