Alex Rodriguez is splitting time in New York and Miami as he rehabilitates his left hip following last month's surgery, a source close to the embattled baseball star told the Daily News on Saturday.

Rodriguez has kept a low profile in Miami in the week since The News first reported that federal and MLB investigators have been looking at his links to a South Florida anti-aging clinic run by Anthony Bosch.

Rodriguez has been working closely with Dr. Bryan Kelly of New York's Hospital for Special Surgery, who performed his surgery on Jan. 16; he's also been working with his personal trainer, Tony Ambler-Wright, and a physical trainer from Kelly's team when he is in Miami.
