Al Jefferson poured in a team-high 22 points to go with 11 rebounds and three steals to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a 89-83 win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

Gerald Henderson finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists and Jeff Taylor added 12 points off the bench for the Bobcats, who had dropped their last two games entering the contest.

Jeff Green scored 19 points and Jordan Crawford added 16 points and six assists for the Celtics, snapping a four-game winning streak.

Both teams were without key big men. Celtics' forward Jared Sullinger was out with a bruised right knee and Bobcats' forward Josh McRoberts missed the game for personal reasons. He's expected to play Friday when Charlotte is at Cleveland.

It was Bobcats' coach Steve Clifford's second game back after two stents were placed in his heart last week.
