Alfonso Soriano heard about Melky Cabrera's 50-game suspension for failing a drug test. But if the San Francisco Giants come back to the Cubs looking for a corner outfielder, it's highly unlikely that Soriano would rethink his position and approve a trade there.

"I don't think so," Soriano said after Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Houston Astros at Wrigley Field. "San Francisco's not good weather to play in – it's the West Coast. I've never played on the West Coast. But we'll see what happens, see if they call and talk with my family."

Soriano – who has full no-trade rights – said he hasn't been approached by the Cubs front office about any possibilities since the July 31 deadline.
