San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree hasn't played in a game since the 49ers lost Super Bowl XLVII in February, but that will change on Sunday. The 49ers announced that Crabtree is officially active and will start against St. Louis.

The 26-year-old wide receiver hasn't played since tearing his Achilles tendon in May.

Crabtree's presence on the field should be good news for quarterback Colin Kaeernick and a 49ers offense that's ranked dead last in passing through 12 weeks this year.
