San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was a full participant in practice Wednesday and did not appear on the team's injury report Wednesday.

It was Crabtree's first practice since being activated to the 53-man roster Tuesday. Crabtree had been practicing for the past three weeks, but he often worked on the side. Crabtree tore his Achilles in May.

Monday night, after the 49ers' win at Washington, coach Jim Harbaugh said he anticipated that Crabtree would play Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. Harbaugh was coy Wednesday, but he did say Crabtree was "bright-eyed and ready to go."

"Let's just take it one day at a time," Harbaugh said. "I think that's the best approach."

The 49ers have missed Crabtree this season. He was targeted on 34 percent of the 49ers' total plays last season.

"I think there's things he does that he's the best in football at," Harbaugh said of Crabtree. "And, that certainly bodes well for us and we're excited about it."

Also, rookie receiver Quinton Patton was limited in practice Wednesday. He has been out since Week 4 with a broken foot, but might be ready to play in the next week or so.
