Wide receiver Jon Baldwin is not active for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after experiencing an undisclosed illness for most of the past two weeks.

Baldwin did not practice on Wednesday after the 49ers arrived in London, but he did take part in limited work on Thursday and Friday. Anquan Boldin and Kyle Williams are listed as the 49ers' starting wide receivers, while Marlon Moore and Kassim Osgood are the backups.

Running back LaMichael James and veteran cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha were also among the 49ers’ seven inactive players. James has been inactive for the past three games after suiting up for two games. He has been inactive for 18 of his 24 regular-season games with the 49ers.

Asomugha has not suited up since the third game of third game of the season. Originally, Asomugha exited the lineup due to a knee injury. But after missing one game with the injury, Asomugha was replaced by Tramaine Brock as the team’s No. 3 cornerback.

With veteran Eric Wright expected to be on the 49ers’ 53-man roster for their next game, Nov. 10 against the Carolina Panthers, Asomugha is in jeopardy of losing his roster spot.
