If things go well...
It goes without saying that Steph Curry is the heart and soul of this team, but he also has plenty of talent surrounding him to make this team the most exciting to watch in the NBA right now. Finishing last season above the Lakers, it’s entirely possible this team does the same while falling short in winning the division against the Clippers. They will make the playoffs in the middle of the pack and are exciting and talented enough to make it to the second round. With Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala, David Lee and Andrew Bogut, this is a team poised to be successful for the foreseeable future and given a few more years to improve could become title contenders.
If things go poorly...
Injuries to Steph Curry, Andrew Bogut and David Lee could derail this season. This is a team that will live and die by the three, so when they go cold, they will lose games. The big men will be required to crash the boards a lot with so much perimeter shooting, so an injury to either Lee or Bogut will cause issues. The same goes for Curry if he misses time as even though he is a scorer, he is also a distributor that leads this team from the point and is sorely missed when out. The success of this season rests on injuries alone and whether or not Mark Jackson can give his six key players enough minutes to satisfy them.
