If things go well...
Head coach Brad Stevens is going to have to be at his best for thing to go well for this Celtics' squad. Their entire season rests on the ability to get superstar Rajon Rondo back on the floor. If Rondo is able to get back on the floor in November or December the C's may be able to reach 30 wins. If things go well Kris Humphries will get traded, Kelly Olynyk will develop well as a rookie, Jared Sullinger will get daily treatment on his back and stay healthy, and Avery Bradley will have to develop as a starting NBA back court player.
If things go poorly...
If Bradley, Courtney Lee, and Jordan Crawford all play exactly as they did last year and don’t improve, things look pretty bleak for the Celtics. Based on recent comments made by Rondo, he is in no hurry to return to the floor. He stated a couple of weeks ago that he will not return until he is able to comfortably dunk off his right foot...sounds exactly like what Bulls' Derrick Rose said during his massively drawn out rehab last season. The longer Rondo stay on the sidelines, the better draft slot the Celtics will get in one of the best drafts in recent memory.
