We're a big fan of pranks here at PSD RedZone, and baseball is the perfect environment for pulling them off. Baseball players have a lot of time on their hands...time that they like to use to formulate and execute some pretty good gags.

Case in point, the El Paso Chihuahuas. Late in Spring Training, veteran Jeff Francoeur was released by the Cleveland Indians and, just days later, signed by the San Diego Padres and assigned to the team’s Triple-A affiliate in El Paso. Immediately upon his arrival with the Chihuahuas, Frenchy's new teammates decided to convince him that relief pitcher Jorge Reyes was deaf. Why? Because they're baseball players and they have too much time on their hands.

First baseman Cody Decker documented the prank for an entire month. Good for us, bad for Francoeur.

"Idiot. Complete, utter, idiot."

"Who is this stupid? On earth? Ever? Jeff Francoeur."
